Commercial Maritime Training

  • Who Should do Commercial Maritime Courses?

These courses are designed for people who wish to work commercially at sea. These are the pathways to obtaining Certificates of Competency from the Australia Maritime Safety Authority.

  • Maritime Course Options

Through our relationship with “Maritime Training School” in Sydney we are accredited to offer training in the following courses.

These courses are offered in two ways.

    1. A blended learning approach where you work at home in your own time guided by a trainer. We provide you with a full online course including assignments and student guidance notes.

Three days of practical face to face training will also occur in Busselton during these courses.

    2. Liveaboard at sea training. 10 days of living on board the beautiful SV Starsand as we sail the ocean and immerse ourselves into life at sea and the skills and knowledge we need to work at sea.

Both courses include your Radio licence and AMPA.

Both courses will earn you the required course completion certificates to apply for your certificate of competency.
