Recreational Skippers Ticket
You book a mini course with Adventure Sailing and we steer you through the assessment process. You still read the blue book before your course but we teach you easy ways to remember the important bits.
You then join Captain Paul in our 5 m training boat for an extensive practical preparation course. We will work with you for as long as it takes to get you competent. When we think you're ready you then sit the exam.
I’ve never had anyone fail this way.
The mini course usually takes 3 to 4 hours and cost $350.
Gold Star Skippers Ticket Course.
This course takes you above and beyond the standards demanded by the Recreational Skippers Ticket.
You will live aboard the beautiful Queimarla for two days and practice skills under power and sail. We will include skills not covered in the RST. Skills like anchoring, picking up moorings, navigation and weather knowledge.
This is the course for you if you own a bigger boat or dream of one.
This is a holiday and a course. Your afternoons are your own - to play with the on board fishing, snorkeling and water sports equipment. There is no better way to learn to handle a small boat than by spending a couple of hours catching crabs which taste mighty good too.
We provide breakfast and lunch, water sports equipment, instruction, a five meter training boat and all testing. We can even do your radio licence at the same time.
This really is the masterclass of Skipper training.
Training takes place in the beautiful calm waters of Geographe Bay.
Family Packages are available. So why not book the entire boat and train the whole family. Then, if the skipper falls overboard, there is still someone competent to come back and rescue him.
This is a 2-day course and costs $700
