  • Master Class < 24 m N. C.

    This course allows you to command a vessel up to 24m with paying passengers.

    We offer the Master less than 24m as an online course with 5 days practical training living onboard our 20m training vessel.

  • Coxswain 1 Certificate holders

    Those students who already hold a Coxswain 1 course will receive credit transfer and a reduction in the overall price of the course. This will reduce the requirements of the full course.

  • Course Outcomes

    With this certificate you can command a commercial vessel less than 24 metres long.

    This certificate will allow you to work as:

    • Master on commercial vessels up to 24 metres long within the exclusive economic zone (EEZ).

    • Chief mate or deck watchkeeper on vessels up to 35 metres long within the EEZ.

    • Chief mate or deck watchkeeper on vessels up to 80 metres long in inshore waters.

  • Eligibility

    To be eligible for a Master less than 24 metres near coastal certificate you must:

    • Be at least 16 years old on the certificate issue date.

    • Be able to speak and understand English, including written documents.

    • Meet medical, eyesight, sea service and course requirements.

    • Gain any required sea service.
